Account settings

Manage your Rocket profile, notification preferences, and account details from one place.

Web Browser

You need a logged-in Rocket account. For push notifications, your browser must have notification permissions enabled.

Open account settings

1. Click the profile icon

   Click on the in the top-right corner of the Rocket homepage.

   
2. Open Account Settings

   Choose Account Settings from the dropdown.

   

Update your profile

1. Edit your details

   • Profile picture: Click the image square and upload a JPG or PNG file.
   • Name: Enter the display name shown across Rocket.
   • Location: Add your city or time zone.

   Email changes are managed by support. Contact [e-mail] if you need a different login address.

2. Save your changes

   Click Save at the bottom of the form. Rocket confirms once the update is applied.

Configure notifications

The account settings page displays two notification toggles:

Push notifications Receive browser notifications even when Rocket is in the background. Notifications cover build status updates, important process events, and project generation milestones.

Audio notifications Hear a sound alert for build completion, errors, and important tasks needing attention. Useful when working in other tabs or applications.

If prompted for browser notification permissions, click Allow to enable push notifications for Rocket.

You can enable both types for complete coverage, or choose only push (visual) or audio (sound) based on your preference.

Troubleshooting

Not receiving push notifications

1. Check that the toggle is enabled in Rocket account settings.
2. Verify browser notification permissions are granted for Rocket.
3. Check your browser notification settings (look for Rocket in allowed sites).
4. Try disabling and re-enabling the toggle in Rocket.

Not hearing audio notifications

1. Check that the toggle is enabled in Rocket account settings.
2. Verify your browser allows audio playback for Rocket.
3. Check that your system volume is not muted.
4. Try playing audio in another tab to confirm browser audio works.

Receiving too many notifications

1. Disable audio notifications if you only want visual alerts.
2. Disable push notifications if you only want audio cues.
3. Disable both when working on long-running projects and check back manually.

Mobile App

You need a logged-in Rocket account and the Rocket mobile app installed. For push notifications, device notification permissions must be enabled.

Update your profile

1. Tap the profile icon

   Tap the profile icon in the bottom navigation bar of the Rocket home screen.

   
2. Open the Profile modal

   The Profile modal displays your current profile picture, name, email, and location.

   
3. Update your details

   • Profile picture: Tap the profile icon area, then tap Edit below it to upload a new JPG or PNG file.
   • Full Name: Tap the pencil icon next to your name to edit it.
   • Location: Tap the pencil icon next to your location to update it.

   Email changes are managed by support. Contact [e-mail] if you need a different login address.

4. Save your changes

   Tap Done in the top-right corner of the Profile modal. Rocket saves your updates and closes the modal.

   

Enable notifications

1. Open Settings from the footer bar

   On the home screen, tap the Settings icon in the footer bar at the bottom.

   
2. Toggle notifications ON

   In the settings sheet that slides up, toggle the Notifications switch to ON (green).

   

   When you toggle notifications on for the first time, iOS may prompt you to allow notifications. Tap Allow to grant permission.

   If you previously denied notification permissions, go to your device Settings > Rocket > Notifications to enable them, then return to the Rocket app to toggle notifications on.

3. Receive push notifications

   Once enabled, you receive mobile push notifications even when the app is in the background or closed. Notifications cover build status updates, important process events, and project generation milestones.

Troubleshooting

Not receiving push notifications

1. Check that the toggle is enabled in Rocket notification settings.
2. Go to device Settings > Rocket > Notifications and ensure they are allowed.
3. Check that “Do Not Disturb” is not enabled on your device.
4. Restart the Rocket app.

Receiving too many notifications

Disable push notifications when working on long-running projects and re-enable when you want to be notified of completion.
