You need a logged-in Rocket account to manage your plan. > [!WARNING] > > Each workspace has its own subscription plan and credit balance. Make sure you are in the correct workspace before managing your subscription. > > You can switch workspaces from the sidebar. See [Manage workspaces](https://dhiwisepvtltd-5e04e6a4.mintlify.site/getting-started/workspace/manage.md). ## Supported payment methods Rocket processes all payments through **Stripe**. When you [buy a plan](#buy-a-plan) or [add credits](#add-credits), Stripe checkout opens with the payment options available in your region. * **Cards (default)**: Credit and debit cards are accepted everywhere Rocket is available. Supported brands include **Visa**, **Mastercard**, **American Express**, and most major international cards. Enter your card number, expiry date, and security code on the checkout form. See [Update your payment method](#update-your-payment-method) to add or change a saved card after subscribing. * **Link**: **Link** is Stripe's express checkout. If you have a Link account, Stripe securely fills in your payment and billing details so you can complete checkout in one click. Look for the **Secure, fast checkout with Link** option on the checkout page. * **Amazon Pay**: **Amazon Pay** lets you use your Amazon account to complete checkout quickly. Select **Amazon Pay** on the checkout page and authorize the payment with your Amazon credentials. > [!NOTE] > > The payment methods shown in Stripe checkout depend on your country and currency. You may see additional local options like **iDEAL**, **Bancontact**, **SEPA Direct Debit**, or **Klarna** based on your region. If you do not see a method you expect, [contact support](mailto:support@rocket.new) and we will help you find a way to subscribe. ## Buy a plan **1. Open Settings and click Upgrade** Go to **Settings → Subscription**. Click the **Upgrade** button. The Upgrade modal opens showing available plans (Pro, Rocket, Booster). Click Upgrade on the plan you want** Click **Upgrade** on the plan that fits your workload. You are redirected to Stripe checkout. **3. Complete checkout** Review the plan details, fill in the checkout fields, and click **Subscribe**. Your credits are available immediately. * **Email**: Pre-filled from your Rocket account. * **Payment method**: Card number, expiry date, and security code. You can also use [Link or Amazon Pay](#supported-payment-methods) if they appear for your region. * **I'm purchasing as a business** (optional): Check this to bill a company. **Full name** becomes **Organisation name**, and a **Tax ID** section appears with **Business name**, **Tax ID type**, and VAT or tax number. * **Billing address**: Full name (or organisation name), country or region, and address. See [Upgrade to another plan](#upgrade-to-another-plan). ## Upgrade paths by plan The Subscription tab shows different options based on your current plan. See [how to buy a plan](#buy-a-plan) or [upgrade to another plan](#upgrade-to-another-plan). | Current plan | Available upgrades | | :- | :- | | **Free** | Pro, Rocket, Booster | | **Pro** | Rocket, Booster | | **Rocket** | Booster | | **Booster** | No upgrades available (highest tier) | ## Upgrade to another plan **1. Open the Subscription tab** Go to **Settings → Subscription**. Your current plan is shown at the top. Choose the higher plan** The Upgrade modal shows all available plans. Confirm the update** Stripe shows the prorated charge for the remainder of your billing cycle. The upgrade takes effect immediately with prorated charges, and you receive the additional credits right away. ## Add credits The **Add credits** button is visible in **Settings → Subscription** for paid users. Clicking it takes you directly to Stripe checkout where you choose how many credits to buy. If you find yourself adding credits regularly, consider [upgrading to a higher plan](#upgrade-to-another-plan) for better value. **1. [Upgrade to a paid plan](#buy-a-plan) first. ## Cancel your subscription **1. Click Manage next to your current plan** Open **Settings → Subscription** and click **Upgrade**. In the modal, your current plan shows a **Manage** button. See [Downgrade your plan](#downgrade-your-plan). ## Downgrade your plan To downgrade, [click **Manage**](#cancel-your-subscription) next to your active plan in Settings → Subscription, then select a lower-tier plan in the Stripe billing portal. Downgrades are scheduled for your next billing cycle. You keep your current plan and credit balance until then. ## Update your payment method **1. Click Manage and go to Payment Method** [Open **Settings → Subscription** and click **Manage**](#cancel-your-subscription), then scroll to the **Payment Method** section. Methods tied to a live subscription stay locked until you switch the plan to a different method. ## Update your billing information **1. Click Manage and go to Billing Information** [Open **Settings → Subscription** and click **Manage**](#cancel-your-subscription), then scroll to the **Billing Information** section and click **Update information**. **2. Each row shows the date, amount, and plan.
